LOSFA Text Messaging Campaign for College Freshmen TOPS Recipients

The Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) has begun its 2018-19 text messaging campaign to all first-time, full-time college freshmen who receive TOPS. The text messages are designed to serve as an additional source of information for TOPS recipients in addition to the Student Hub and other LOSFA resources. Students will receive text messages with tips to keep their TOPS award in good standing, reminders of the TOPS retention requirements and also any breaking news regarding the TOPS program. Students can also respond to LOSFA text messages to get a personalized response from a LOSFA representative. Standard text messaging rates apply. Students may opt out of receiving text messages from LOSFA at any time by replying “STOP” or “CANCEL”.
