LOSFA’s student engagement efforts provide direct virtual connections to the one-on-one support and advocacy students need to persist in pursuit of educational and career success. Formed in May 2021, the Student Engagement Division expands LOSFA’s outreach support and advances its engagement strategies to reach students of all ages (i.e., K-12, postsecondary, and returning adults). The Student Engagement team provides networking opportunities to virtually connect students to colleges, cohorts, and careers; build partnerships with community organizations and business and industry professionals; and share information and resources to assist with degree completion. This unit extends the work of existing LOSFA Programs to further promote, prepare, and provide educational access, success, and attainment.
