Complete the Course
The Completers Grant provides financial aid to students who are near completion in any degree program, with priority given to students in healthcare, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields and teacher education. The grant is available to students who have completed at least 90 credit hours toward their declared bachelor’s degree, have completed at least 30 credit hours toward their declared associate degree, or who are completing an on-ramp credential and/or credential of value programs as identified by Louisiana Workforce Commission. The Completers Grant also incentivizes enrollment in and completion of short-term credential programs at two-year institutions .The maximum a student can receive is the total of the tuition, fees, and books as set forth on their fee bill. Funds can only be used towards tuition, fees and books.
The grant will not provide more than two consecutive semesters of funding and each academic institution will determine award amount. The Completers Grant is funded through one-time Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) dollars, available through Summer Term 2023.
The Completers Grant ended on June 30, 2023. No more funding is available through this program.
