TOPS Initial Eligibility
High school students must meet TOPS eligibility requirements (i.e. TOPS Core Curriculum GPA, ACT, residency, citizenship) upon graduation and plan to attend an eligible Louisiana postsecondary institution.
TOPS Retention Session
Current TOPS Award recipients must meet enrollment, credit hour and TOPS cumulative GPA requirements in order to renew their TOPS Award each term.
Student Hub
Students can register for a Student Hub account to track their TOPS award eligibility and status. If you only need a LOSFA ID or if you are locked out of your Student Hub account, please e-mail [email protected]. (Note: Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot release the LOSFA ID to anyone other than the student if the student is 18 years old or older or is already enrolled in college.)
FAFSA®/FSA ID Assistance
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is the form students must complete to receive financial aid from the federal and/or state government, as well as institutional aid.
All contributing parties must have a verified FSA ID before they can begin the FAFSA®. This process can take 1-3 days after the FSA ID account is created.
M.J. Foster Promise Program
The M.J. Foster Promise Program provides financial assistance to eligible students who enroll in a qualified program at a two-year public college or university, or an accredited proprietary school licensed by the Board of Regents to pursue an associate degree, or a shorter-term postsecondary education credential required for certain high-demand, high-wage occupations aligned with Louisiana’s workforce priorities.
