Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility Requirements
Open to all Louisiana high school seniors and Louisiana college/university students.
Out-of-state students are eligible only if currently enrolled at a Louisiana college or university.
Applicants must not be in their final semester of studies and must be under the age of 31 at the time of application.
Students must submit original artwork — accepted forms include, but are not limited to: paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, digital art, documentaries, short films, rap and other music videos, cartoons, and mixed-media projects.
An artist statement is required, explaining how the work expresses grief, healing, or joy.
All materials must be received by the October 31, 2025, deadline
