START Saving Program staff will be providing essential functions remotely in response to COVID-19.

To take advantage of the START 529 College Savings tax incentive, all deposits must be received by year end 2020.  For the safety of our Account Owners as well as LOSFA staff, deposits will be accepted ONLY as follows:

• Electronically by echeck or credit card to be received by 11:59 on 12/31/20

• Overnight Delivery to 602 N. 5th Street, Baton Rouge, LA  70802

• One time ACH to be requested by December 18th

• A paper check mailed by US mail and postmarked by 12/31/20 and received by 1/2/21

To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, a deposit drop box will be available to receive check deposits in the 1st floor lobby of the Galvez Building at 602 N. 5th Street, Baton Rouge, LA, 70802, the last week of the year. Receipts will be emailed or mailed by US Mail if there is no email address on file.
