2013-2014 Club Officers
The deadline to apply to serve as an Explorers’ Club State Officer has been extended to October 28, 2013.
This year for the first time, Louisiana GEAR UP is hosting statewide elections for state level Explorers’ Club Officers. Strong leaders from each club have the opportunity to take on a leadership role at a higher level. State officers are tasked to encourage Explorers’ Clubs across the state to collaborate, compete, and celebrate with one another. This officer team will take on additional responsibilities and time commitment outside of local club functions.
2014-2015 Explorers’ Club State Office Team

Strong leaders from each Club had the opportunity to take on a leadership role at a higher level. State officers are tasked to encourage Explorer’s Clubs across the state to collaborate, innovate, and celebrate with one another. This officer team has taken on additional responsibilities and time commitment outside of local Club functions.
2015 State Conference and Leadership Summit
LA GEAR UP hosted its annual Explorers’ Club Conference and Leadership Summit on March 12-14, 2015 at the Capitol Center Hilton in downtown Baton Rouge. The Leadership Summit focused on the transition from high school to college.
Students had an opportunity to showcase the progress their clubs have made and celebrate their hard work and efforts!
In order to attend the conference, students must have been accepted to a postsecondary institution.
