LOSFA Programs is dedicated to maintaining the safety of our students, parents, and stakeholders, as well as team members. Therefore, we will be providing services through email, text messaging, fax, social media, one-on-one or small and large group virtual sessions, in the following manner:

Need help with your FAFSA?
Although the priority deadline of July 1 has passed, it is not too late to file your FAFSA. To have financial aid available at the beginning of the fall semester of 2020, you need to file as soon as possible! If you need assistance, schedule a virtual meeting with one of our staff members by clicking here.
For virtual assistance with completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), register here. If you have questions about your FAFSA, email firstname.lastname@example.org or text ‘LOSFA’ to 50065. You can also use the #GeauxFAFSA hashtag on social media for assistance.
For questions related to how LOSFA assists students with college, career, and/or military applications, email LCAAM@la.gov.
Need to inquire about your TOPS status?
For questions related to your TOPS status, log onto your Student Hub account. Your account can be accessed by visiting www.mylosfa.la.gov and clicking on the applications tab at the top of the webpage. If you do not have your LOSFA ID number and/or are locked out, email email@example.com.
If you need to check on the status of your TOPS award, but you do not have your LOSFA ID number, and/or are locked out of your account, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Requests for an Exception and/or supporting documentation should be submitted via email to TOPS.email@example.com.

Note: If a student was unable to maintain continuous enrollment or complete a study abroad program due to steps taken to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus, please read the “TOPS Coronavirus Q and A” button below for additional information.
Need to make a START deposit?
We are accepting in person deposits and completed forms for processing. If additional assistance is needed, we are now offering Virtual Office Hours. Click the button below to schedule a Zoom session with a member of the START team.
Disbursements may be made online or by submitting the “Request for Disbursement Form” via mail, email or fax for processing. The form can be accessed here. Disbursements can now be payable to the account owner, the beneficiary or the institution.

Need to drop off a document to us?
Documents can be submitted via e-mail at email@example.com, faxed to (225) 208-1496, or mailed/dropped off to our office in the Galvez Building on the first floor at: 602 North 5th Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802.
Please note: On-site temperature checks will be conducted, and masks will be required to enter the building.
